Town Library Board Announces New Board President: Mary Mott

 

The Town Library Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Mary Mott as the Board’s new President.

 

A lifelong Livonia resident (Class of 2007), Mary earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from SUNY Geneseo and has worked for 15 years at Canandaigua National Bank, including eight years in Internal Audit focused on internal controls. She has served on the Library Board of Trustees for 2.5 years and remains active in the community as a member of the Friends of Livonia, an Advisory Board member of Livingston County 4‑H, and a 4‑H leader for more than eight years. Mary and her husband are raising their three children in Livonia, and she shares the Board’s appreciation for the Library’s wide range of programs for kids, adults, and all interests.

 

The Board looks forward to Mary’s continued leadership and thanks her for her ongoing service to the Livonia Public Library and our community.

The Public Hearing remains open, and the next continuation meeting will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026, at the Livonia Town Hall at 7 pm.

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the LIVONIA JOINT PLANNING BOARD will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 7 p.m. at the Livonia Town Hall, 35 Commercial Street, Livonia, New York, to consider the application of Douglas Ricketts for Subdivision approval according to Article III, Section 130-6 E of the Village of Livonia Code.

 

The proposal is for a three-lot Subdivision. The property is located at the turnaround at the end of Meadow Drive, Livonia, New York, tax parcel number 75.14-1-3.258, and is Zoned Neighborhood Residential (NR). 

 

The application is on file in the Building & Zoning Department at the Livonia Town Hall, 35 Commercial Street, Livonia, New York, for public review. 

 

All interested parties will be heard at this time.

There will be a joint meeting on Monday, February 23, 2026, with the Livonia Joint Planning Board and the Livonia Joint Zoning Board of Appeals.

 

This meeting is a continuation of the Public Hearing for the application of Chester Girod for a proposed Home Occupation (machinery Belt Shop) in an accessory structure located at 5976 Price Road, Livonia, New York.  This meeting is for the Site Plan and Conditional Use Permit for the Home Occupation approval.

 

The meeting will be held at the Livonia Town Hall, 35 Commercial Street, Livonia.  The meeting will begin at 7 pm.
